Dominica is an island with high rainfall and an abundance of flowing water, from 365 rivers. As a result, proactive water control is key to avoiding infrastructural damage and safeguarding property during heavy rainfall. JARS has constructed several retaining walls in Dominica, helping to prevent land slippage, flooding and loss of crops and livestock.
