Dominica State College
Activille Tavernier and Associates constructed Dominica’s first degree granting public institution, the Dominica State College.  The College consists of two wings: one with two floors and the other with three. It is the traditional classroom design with a reinforced concrete structure and roof.

Bath Estate Apartment Complex
Activille Tavernier and Associates Ltd. constructed one of the blocks of the Bath Estate Apartment Complex. This block, which has three floors of apartments, was made out of reinforced concrete with a timbre framed roof of colour coated corrugated sheeting. The Government of Dominica financed the construction of the complex for sale as private dwelling homes.

Wesley High School
Activille Tavernier and Associates Ltd. retrofitted one of the island’s oldest secondary schools, the Wesley High School. The retrofit included installation of an internal steel frame with a mezzanine floor.

Surveyor: Vincent Robinson

Vincent Robinson is an engineering surveying specialist with over thirty-five (35) years experience as a surveyor. He began his career in England with Iffland and Associates, working on coastal erosions. Returning to Dominica, he joined the Land and Survey department of the Ministry of Works and worked for fourteen (14) years as the government’s Principal Land and Engineering Surveyor: a position that made him responsible for the surveying of all the island’s public infrastructure projects. Mr. Robinson went on to head, for nine years, the Roads and Engineering Unit of the Ministry of Works.

While Mr. Robinson has worked on numerous land subdivisions and public buildings, his experience and skills in road and water works is enviable.  He has worked on most of the major road constructions in Dominica in the last twenty years, such as the island’s North Link road, the Blenheim to Jimmit Road, and the Pointe Michel to Soufriere Road. Mr. Robinson’s record in sea wall projects is no less impressive. He has emerged as one of the island’s leading surveyors in batrymetrics. He also surveyed several water projects, including those laid down in Roseau, the Carib Territory, and the communities of Clifton, Cottage, Toucarie and Savanne Paille.
